Searching for more educational resources
To make it easier to search for more educational resources on the web, we have implemented a customized search engine which gives higher weightage to education related resources. If you use this engine to search on a topic of interest, the results will appear with the education resources displayed first. The results of your search can then be further filtered to show those related to lecture notes, books, assignments or software.The customized search box is located on the top of the right navigation bar under the label More educational resources. This is a Google search box but it has been fine-tuned to facilitate a targetted search for educational resources on the web. You just have to enter the text you want to search on and click the Search button or press the Enter key and the results provided will automatically give priority to educational resources. There is no necessity to add other keywords such as "education" or "educational resources" to return the desired results.
In the search results page, there is a possibility of narrowing further your customized search by clicking on one of the links shown at the top of the page: Lecture Notes, Books, Assignments, Software. For example, if you click on Lecture Notes, the results for the topic you are searching is filtered further to show only those which are related to lecture notes on that topic.
Please note that this customized seach box searches the web and not the Education For All website. If you want to search the content within this website use the Search link at the top next to the Text size link. If you want to search only the forum discussions you can use the Search Forum box shown at the top forum page when any of the forum pages is displayed.
